The Griffiths family have a long standing relationship with Trebetherick.  For the duration of the war Stepper House (below St Moritz Hotel) was let to Sir Percival Griffiths and his wife Kathleen. Mrs Griffiths ran a small school at Stepper that consisted of about six small children, Nigel Griffiths' father being one.  Through the marriage of Nigel to Susannah Bedwell the love of Trebetherick has continued.
4 St Moritz Court has always offered a warm and restful retreat from the busyness of life tucked away in the peaceful village of Trebetherick.  St Moritz Court was originally a local prep school until it was converted into holiday apartments as part of the original St Moritz Hotel owned and run by the Underwood family.  4 St Moritz Court was acquired in 1978 for the Bedwell family when the Underwood’s sold the hotel and retired. As the owners of the other flats in the complex sold up over time the family acquired two further flats.  During these additional acquisitions, 4 St Moritz Court was passed onto the eldest of the Bedwell children, Susannah. In 2012 4 St Moritz Court underwent a major refurbishment and extension adding the new living and dining room and refreshing the rest of the internal areas.
4 St Moritz Court is now seeing the fifth generation enjoying memories and discovering the excitement of all the experiences and opportunities the beautiful local area has to offer.  Favourite activities include rock pooling, cowrie shell hunting, and crabbing on Greenaway, finding starfish on Cave beach, puffin and seal spotting at the rumps, learning to surf at Polzeath, sailing and water skiing at Rock, fine dining in Padstow and cycling the Camel trial.  From childhood birthdays to family weddings, 4 St Moritz Court has facilitated it all.
The whole family love staying here and are still finding new places to explore and play.  We really hope you enjoy your time in 4 St Moritz Court as much as we do.
